The existing mill building was erected in 1701 and consists of three storeys, built in brick with a tiled roof over.
Over recent years the site and property had become in a state of poor condition and in much need of repair and re-development. The clients brief was to re-develop the existing mill property and associated outbuildings, and by way of extensions and alterations unleash its potential as a stylish home in this desirable living area, whilst maintaining the historic features of the building to preserve its original design concept.
The construction of the building re-used historic design features of the original building and was subject to exceptional craftsmanship in its restoration.
